Rebekah Blanchette, DDS
Rebekah Blanchette, DDSRaised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Dr. Rebekah Blanchette completed her undergraduate studies majoring in zoology at the University of Maine graduating with honors (Suma Cum Laude) and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. During her time at the University, she became fascinated with dentistry and was accepted at Dalhousie University’s Dental School in Halifax, Nova Scotia and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr Blanchette is a member of the Penobscot Valley Dental Society, Maine Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Invisalign organizations.
Dr. Blanchette has been a part of Broadway Dental since 2010 and became the Broadway Dental practice owner in 2022. In addition to a strong clinical background, Dr. Blanchette was honored to teach at the University of Maine Augusta’s, Dental Hygiene and Expanded Function Dental Assisting Programs from 2011 to 2023 where she gained leadership and mentoring skills teaching both lecture and clinical courses.
In 2023, she decided to further advance her knowledge and skills and completed a rigorous 300-hour Implant residency with American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in Boston and earned Board Certification to perform dental implants. Dr Blanchette also has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges and Invisalign clear aligners.
When Dr. Blanchette isn’t in the office, she is having adventures with her husband, Jason and 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family at camp, baking, running or on the soccer field with her children.
Dr. Brody Valley
Raised in Holden, Maine, Dr. Brody Valley graduated from Brewer High School in 2013 before pursuing a career in dentistry. He earned his undergraduate degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England, and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in 2021.
Interested in further advancing his education and skills he also completed a hands-on 300-hour course with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in Boston. Not only does Dr. Valley have a passion for implant dentistry he has a particular interest in root canals, extractions and restorative dentistry.
Committed to serving his community, Dr. Valley returned home to practice dentistry. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Valley enjoys spending quality time with his dog, Chuck, and exploring the outdoors through hunting, golfing, and skiing.
A Fairwell to Dr. John Tozer
In describing our office, we are honored to recognize Dr. John Tozer, who created Broadway Dental Excellence 38 years ago in 1985 and led it with exceptional care until his retirement in 2024.
Dr. Tozer’s wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of care have shaped the very foundation of this practice. His guidance, compassion, and sense of humor have not only influenced the way we provide care, but also created a lasting impact on our entire team and the community we serve.
